Deleting your data from LazyOne

Last updated 27 September 2026

LazyOne is an AI marketing workspace operated by the LazyOne team. This page explains three different things, and what each one removes: disconnecting Amazon or another marketplace seller account, closing your LazyOne account, and removing a connected Facebook, Instagram or Meta advertising account.

Amazon and other marketplace seller accounts

Disconnect Amazon — your LazyOne account stays

Sign in and open Sales Analytics → Marketplace accounts, then choose Disconnect on the seller account. Straight away, as one action, LazyOne removes the stored Amazon credentials and the Amazon marketplace data associated with that connection: listings, orders, returns, refunds, stock, sales figures, your working drafts of those listings, the pricing optimizer set up for them, and the Amazon content of your change history. Content-free security and audit records may be kept — that a change was made, when, and whether it succeeded — for integrity and security. Your LazyOne account, brands and other work are not affected.

To withdraw LazyOne’s access at Amazon as well, remove LazyOne in Seller Central → Apps and Services → Manage Your Apps. LazyOne never holds Amazon buyer details, and never sends Amazon data to an AI provider.

Disconnecting Flipkart removes its tokens and the data read through it in the same way; the record of changes you approved and sent to Flipkart stays in your change history until you close your account.

Close your LazyOne account — everything goes

Closing your account removes every marketplace connection, its credentials and all marketplace data held for you, together with the rest of your LazyOne work. How to close your account is described below.

Facebook, Instagram and Meta advertising accounts

If you connected a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account or a Meta advertising account to LazyOne, the rest of this section explains what we hold, how to remove it, and what happens when you do.

Information

The fastest way

Sign in and disconnect the account from Integrations or, for advertising accounts, Advertising. Disconnecting deletes the stored access token immediately. You do not need to contact anyone.

What LazyOne stores about a Meta connection

When you connect an account, Meta gives LazyOne an access token and the details needed to use it. We store:

  • An access token, encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is written. Nobody at LazyOne can read it — there is no administrator permission that grants access to it, by design.
  • The account’s own identifier and name at Meta — the Page id and Page name, the Instagram account id and handle, or the advertising account id, its currency and its timezone. This is what lets you tell two connected accounts apart.
  • Your app-scoped Meta user id, which is the identifier Meta gives us for you within our app alone. It is meaningless to any other app. We store it so that a deletion request from Meta can find everything you authorised.
  • The permissions that were granted, so that a post which fails for a missing permission can be explained rather than just failing.

We do not receive or store your Facebook password, your friends list, your private messages, or any content you have not asked LazyOne to publish.

How to have it deleted

1. In LazyOne — immediate

Sign in and open Manage connected accounts, then choose Disconnect on the account you want removed. Meta advertising accounts are disconnected from Advertising. The encrypted token is deleted as part of that action.

2. In your Facebook settings — automatic

Open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites on Facebook, find LazyOne, and remove it. Facebook then sends LazyOne a signed deletion request. LazyOne verifies the signature, deletes the data described below, and returns a confirmation code with a link where you can check the outcome. Facebook shows you that link.

3. By email — within 30 days

Write to brandbucksconsulting@gmail.com from the email address on your LazyOne account and say which accounts you want removed. This route is handled by a person, so it is the slowest of the three; we act on it within 30 days.

What is deleted

When a deletion request is processed, LazyOne removes:

  • Every Facebook Page connection you authorised, and the encrypted token behind it.
  • Every Instagram connection you authorised, and the encrypted token behind it.
  • Every Meta advertising account you connected, its encrypted token, and the account details cached alongside it.
  • Your app-scoped Meta user id, which is held only on those rows and goes when they go.

Anything you had scheduled to post through one of those accounts is cancelled rather than attempted. It will not be published, and the scheduler will not retry it.

What is kept, and why

Two things survive a deletion, and neither can identify you at Meta:

  • A deletion receipt. A confirmation code, a status, the date, and three counts — how many connections, advertising accounts and scheduled posts were affected. It holds no Meta identifier: your app-scoped id is stored only as a one-way keyed hash, which is enough to recognise a repeat request and not enough to recover who it was about. The receipt is what makes the status link work afterwards.
  • An audit entry recording that a deletion ran and how much it removed. This exists so that we can demonstrate the obligation was met. It contains counts, not identifiers and not tokens.

Backups. Deleted rows are removed from the live database immediately. Our database plan does not currently include backups. If that changes, we will review how long deleted data can remain in them and update this page; backups would never be used to bring deleted data back into service.

Your LazyOne account is not affected. Removing Meta data does not delete your brands, your generated work or your LinkedIn connections. To delete your whole account, see the Privacy Policy.

How long it takes

  • Disconnecting in LazyOne — immediate, as part of the click.
  • Removing the app in Facebook — processed when Meta’s request reaches us, normally within seconds. The confirmation link Facebook shows you reports the outcome.
  • Email request — within 30 days.

One honest limitation

LazyOne began recording the app-scoped Meta user id against a connection in September 2026. A connection made before then does not carry one, so an automatic request from Meta cannot match it. If you connected an account before that date and want it removed, disconnect it in Integrations or email us — both routes work regardless of when the connection was made.

Your LazyOne account and the work in it

Everything above is about a connected Meta account. The work you make in LazyOne is separate, and most of it you can remove yourself, immediately, without asking anyone:

  • Brands, from the brand’s own page — which tells you what goes with it and what survives before you confirm.
  • Generations — ads, films, articles, listings — from the work history, along with any files they produced.
  • Campaigns, uploaded and generated assets, saved prompts, skills and automations, each from its own screen.
  • Connected accounts and stored provider keys, from Integrations and from Models & API Keys. Disconnecting erases the stored credential immediately.
  • Marketplace seller accounts — Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart — from Sales Analytics → Marketplace accounts. What disconnecting removes, and what is kept, is set out above.

You can also close the account itself. Sign in and open Settings, where “Close this account” removes everything listed above in one action: brands and the work made under them, generations and their files, campaigns and anything scheduled, saved prompts, skills, automations, connected accounts, marketplace seller data and stored provider keys. It cannot be undone.

One thing is kept, and it is worth saying why. LazyOne keeps an append-only security log — who signed in, what was changed, what was published — which is deliberately impossible to rewrite, including by us. Closing an account does not erase or edit those entries, and they hold no content from your work or your marketplace accounts. Instead the account record they point to is emptied of your name, email address, phone number and every other personal detail, so what remains records that something happened without recording that it was you.

Write to brandbucksconsulting@gmail.com. If you have a confirmation code from a Facebook deletion request, quote it and we can look up what that request did.
